We run a cub pack, the 1st Thingwall, based at Stanley School in Thingwall. The pack is for pupils from the school, a special school. Each of the cubs is partnered for the meeting by a pupil of Thingwall Primary School. Ruth Bennet, their Akela runs the meetings, every Monday lunchtime for an hour and enjoy a variety of activities including crafts, games and campfire songs.

All the cubs wear uniform and are invested, making their best attempts at the Scout Promise and Sign.

The majority of the cubs attend one or more of our camps and weekends whilst they are in the pack. Once they leave the school, and pack they are encouraged to join their local Scout group to continue their Scouting development.
