Funding and Support

The camps are extremely expensive, with the weekend camps costing over £1,000 and the main camp costing over £14,000, the majority of this is taken up by the hire of equipment, catering, transport and the cost of onsite and offsite activities. Added with the continuing support for the Section’s other work, all adds to a significant financial burden. Finance for the Section comes from a variety of sources, from our own fund raising efforts, to the support of other organisations, grant applications, businesses and the general public. We are always looking for new fund raising opportunities.
